How do I connect the POS terminal to Wi-Fi?
To enjoy optimal payment speeds and automatic updates, we recommend connecting the terminal to the point-of-sale's Wi-Fi.
To activate Wi-Fi and connect to the network:
Tap the circular button at the bottom of the screen to exit the PayXpress app.
Go to the Android Settings.
Tap Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
Choose your preferred Wi-Fi network*
Enter the password and tap “Connect”.
Once Wi-Fi is enabled, the POS automatically connects to nearby Wi-Fi networks to which it has already been connected.
*You can connect your device to the Wi-Fi network of your choice, without any technical constraints. However, for security reasons, it is strongly recommended to connect via a private Wi-Fi router. Using public networks, such as those available in shopping centers, can expose your device to risks (malware, data interception) and lead to an unstable connection. Furthermore, networks requiring validation or the entry of credentials via a web page are not compatible with payment terminals.
