Consult a transaction made on your POS terminal

You can see your past transactions on the POS itself or in the Backoffice. Here we will go over both.

On the POS device

You can view (for now,) today’s and yesterday’s transactions in the “Transactions' journal”. To access it:

  1. Open the main menu and tap Transactions' journal:

  2. Your transactions from today are listed by default. Notice that you can switch to different time periods or select your own:

  3. Tap a transaction to see its details:

    Here we can see if the transaction has been collected and if it our POS was offline when it was performed, for example

     

  4. From this screen you can tap to re-print or email the ticket, if desired.

In the Backoffice

For a general overview of the Transactions view in the Backoffice, please see Transactions. In this section we will go over how to view the transactions performed on a specific POS terminal.

Remember that first you need to https://central.payxpert.com/login to our Backoffice. If you do not yet have a username, please ask the admin responsible within your organization for creating them, or if none, the PayXpert Support team.

To consult a transaction made on your POS device:

  1. From the menu on the left, click Processing and select Transactions:

  2. The transactions page shows all of your latest transactions. In order to filter transactions by a specific terminal, open the "Related entities" filter group, then go to the "Originators" field:

  3. Enter the serial number of the POS in question, then click on the Filter.

  4. The page will now only show transactions performed on the device with that serial number. Remember that by default the Date from filter is set to fetch your transactions from the last month:

  5. To view the details of a transaction, click on the transaction identifier link in blue.

    A transaction details window will appear:

    Notice that here you can see details like the collection timestamp for the transaction and if the POS was in Degraded mode during the transaction.
