Purpose

Clearing application caches can resolve issues such as application freezing, launch failures, or outdated cached data. This procedure is safe and does not delete the application itself; only temporary data is cleared.

Step-by-Step Procedure

Accessing the System Panel (Red)

  1. On the terminal's main screen, swipe up or press the Home/Menu button to access the interface for applications installed on the POS terminal..

  2. Tap the "System Panel" icon.

  3. You are prompted to enter your login details. Please enter the following information:

    • First password: 00000000 (eight zeros)

    • Second password: 00000000 (eight zeros)

  4. On the System Panel Castles page, swipe to the bottom of the page and tap the “Settings” button.

Access the PayXpress app

  1. In Google settings, click on the “Apps & Notifications” option and then the “Show X apps” button. A list of apps will appear.

  2. Find the app “PayXpress” and click on it.

  3. Once in the PayXpress app information, tap Storage.

  4. Clear and Erase Storage.

    1. Select the “Clear Cache” and “Erase Storage” buttons.

    2. Confirm the action if necessary.
