Daily summary
How it works
The Daily summary feature allows you to get a recap at the end of your business day.
Included in the recap are only the transactions for your defined day, by default 00:00-23:59. You can personalize your business hours. Internet required.
Customized start and end date
It is possible to define your business day start and end times so that your Daily summary includes this period. This is helpful for example when your business day runs past midnight into the morining hours of the next day.
Define your business hours
This is done in Settings; check Change settings | Daily summary start & end times.
Viewing the summary
If you are inside the time range
You can check your daily summary and it will show you the current day’s transaction recap:
If you are outside the time range
If you are outside of the range (meaning it’s past the end time but before the start time) You will see the previous daily summary
Access from main menu
To view your current (or most recent) Daily summary:
Go to the Main menu and tap Daily summary:
The summary page is shown.
What is shown
Time period : defined on top:
Includes “day+1” if next day included.
Total transactions: here we show you the total business done (debits minus refunds and cancellations) calculated using:
debits
corresponding part in tips (if Tips is enabled)
cancellations
refunds
Remember that your daily summary can include multiple sessions (see Session management | Sessions and the Daily summary).
Share/print the summary
You can print or share your Transaction totals summary via the Share button:
How to enable
The Daily summary feature can be enabled for the merchant’s devices by PayXpert or its partners. See Personalization of PayXpress | Daily summary.
