  1. On the terminal’s home screen, tap the PayXpress (blue star) icon to start the payment.

  2. “Debit” transaction: enter the amount in cents and tap Validate (blue star). For example: Enter 100 for 1.00 EUR:

  3. The following screen appears. It is possible to read various types of cards:

    1. Contactless payment: the customer is invited to present his card or any card emulation (telephone, connected watch, etc.) to the target. The terminal will detect it via NFC (near field communication).

    2. Contact payment: the customer is asked to insert his card into the chip card reader. The card must be left inside the reader until the end of the transaction. (Note that it is also possible to accept magnetic stripe cards, on the rare occasion where your shopper has an older card or comes from a place that still uses them.)

      1. Now ask the customer to enter their PIN code on the terminal keypad. For each digit of the code entered, a star is displayed. Then tap the Validate (blue star) button:

      2. The PIN is correct. The terminal continues processing the transaction.

    3. The debit transaction is carried out and recorded in our centralized electronic payment platform.

      1. The message "Payment accepted" is displayed for 1 second:

      2. If the shopper has made a contact payment, he is asked to remove his card at this time:

  4. The terminal gives the merchant/customer the option to print the customer ticket, send it by email, or display it as a QR code:

    1. If the customer chooses to print the ticket, then depending on their card, a signature may be required:
